Check-in is from 4pm onwards. The accommodation is normally left open with the key in the door or on the table. Sometimes we leave the key in a key box and can supply the combination code on the day. We will text the directions prior to your arrival. We are often around but if you do arrive late then you can let yourself in. In the winter we can light the fire ready for your arrival so all is cosy and in this case it is useful to have an estimated time of arrival (ETA).
Check-out is by 10am. If there are no new guests arriving then we can be flexible but this must be arranged 24 hours before departure as we have the cleaning to organise.
All prices are for one or two people, per night. In the event of 3 or 4 guests we charge an additional £15 per person. We do not offer a single occupancy rate.
Tea, coffee, milk and a selection of cereal is included.
On-line or telephone bookings must be secured by using an acceptable valid credit/debit card or BACS. A 50% deposit will be taken on booking which is non-refundable, unless the cancellation is made 14 days prior to the arrival date, in which case a full refund will be given. The balance will be taken on the day of arrival.
If one party (Group) is taking both the ‘Cabin’ and the ‘Annexe’ then we require payment in full 8 weeks before your arrival date.
The most efficient way to make payment is via a BACS electronic transfer. We accept most credit /debit cards. We do not take American Express. We do not accept cheques. There is a 2% charge for card payments.
We accept a dog in the Annexe but not in the Cabin. The Annexe has a secure fence around the patio. We charge £27 per stay for one dog. We have a dog and a cat who lives in the stable.
We are exclusively a non-smoking establishment. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
We reserve the right to charge guests for any damage caused to property or structure of the Annexe or the Cabin. If the odd glass is broken then all we would ask is that you just let us know so that we can replace it. Mistakes happen. If anything is removed or stolen then we reserve the right to charge for a replacement by using the guests credit/debit card (or by sending an invoice for the cost for payment to the guests registered address).
Guests agree to be held personally liable for any charges incurred during their stay. In the event of a booking for more than one room (a group booking) then the lead or registered guest will supply credit/debit card details and is personally liable for any person, group, company or association that fails to pay all or part of such charges.
